Independent app studio · est. 2026
Apps you'll use,
not just download.
Walking Forest is an independent app studio. Every app we make gets the same treatment: fast, quiet, carefully built, and looked after long after it ships.

Card Reps
Coming soonCard Reps is a spaced-repetition flashcard app for people studying something that matters — an exam, a language, a licence. Build a deck by hand, import one from Anki, or turn a PDF or document into cards, then review on a schedule that puts what you keep forgetting in front of you more often. When a deadline is coming, exam mode compresses your reviews to fit the time you have left.
The studio
Grown with care.
Walking Forest is an independent software company, started in 2026. We are building a short catalogue of apps for the web, iOS and Android, beginning with Card Reps.
The people who write the code are the people who answer the email, so problems get fixed rather than filed. We would rather do a few things well and keep them working than ship something and move on.
Made to last
We would rather keep improving what we have shipped than chase the next thing. An app of ours is not finished on release day.
Plain about data
Every app tells you what it collects and why, in language you can actually read.
Small on purpose
A real human answers support email — usually the one who wrote the code you're asking about.
Support
Need help with an app?
Every Walking Forest app is supported on its own site, by the people who built it — and everything to do with your account and your data lives in the app itself.
